WHO IS THIS FOR

Our findings are built to be used

Footprints is an academic project, but it is not written only for academics. From the outset, we have designed our research to be legible and useful for a wide range of audiences:

Educators and youth workers

They will find reliable data and thoughtful interpretation to inform their work with young people — understanding what they actually think and believe, rather than projecting assumptions onto them.

Church leaders and pastoral teams

They will encounter a nuanced portrait of young Catholics and young believers more broadly: their faith, their doubts, their practices, and the particular ways in which the Gospel resonates — or struggles to resonate — with their experience.

Researchers and academics

They will have access to our full datasets, methodological documentation, and peer-reviewed publications, including a special issue of the journal Church, Communication and Culture (Taylor & Francis).

Journalists and communicators

They will find original, internationally comparable data on young people's religion, values, and expectations — a reliable source for stories that go beyond stereotype.

Parents

They will find honest, evidence-based answers to some of the most pressing questions of family life today: what young people really think about God, love, work, and the future.
